HISTORY
The Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering was founded on the 17th of February 1992. Its predecessor was the Institute of Chemical Engineering with the rights of a faculty, existing since the 1st October 1970.

STRUCTURE
At present the Faculty has six departments:

The Faculty library has over 14,000 books and about 40 subscriptions to monthly journals and reviews. The library is used by more than 3,000 readers each year.

STAFF of the FACULTY
The Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering has 79 members
of teaching staff, including 11 professors and 3 associate professors,
as well as 80 technicians and secretarial staff.
The Faculty has awarded 60 Ph.D. degrees since its foundation.
